If you sell your vehicle, please remember to pay all your outstanding invoices, and to terminate your contract.
Please refer to this FAQ entry to learn more how to terminate your contract.
Here's what might happen:
- Loss of promotion eligibility: If your contract was associated with a promotion for new vehicles (e.g. voucher, package, free base fee), selling your car might mean that you lose eligibility for that promotion for the contract of the car and it cannot be transferred to another account or contract.
- Loss of vouchers & packages: If you cancel your contract, any vouchers or packages associated with it will be lost and cannot be transferred to another account or contract.
- Potential retroactive fees: please refer to this FAQ entry to learn more.
- Remaining runtime of the contract: Your contract will still be usable until the contract end date is reached according to the runtime (e.g. 30 days after termination). Please note that charging sessions within this period will still be invoiced.
- Disconnection from your vehicle: Make sure that you disconnect your contract from your vehicle & app e.g. by performing a factory reset at the vehicle, and deactivate Plug & Charge (only applicable if your contract & vehicle are eligible for this service).
